A fine 2018, Cantina di Venosa lancia sul mercato enologico di qualità il frutto dell’entusiasmante evoluzione della storica cantina cooperativa. Matematico è un rosso barricato, in legno nuovo di primo passaggio, Merlot in bland con l’Aglianico del Vulture. Etichetta che esprime la lungimiranza del progetto firmato dal Presidente Francesco Perillo, che ne cura personalmente la selezione. Perché lungimirante?
At the end of 2018, Cantina di Venosa launches on the quality wine market the fruit of the exciting evolution of the historic cooperative winery. Matematico is a red barricade, in new wood of first pass, Merlot in bland with Aglianico del Vulture. Label that expresses the foresight of the project signed by the President Francesco Perillo, who personally takes care of the selection. Why far-sighted?
Perché dare la scena ad un vitigno internazionale in una cantina che ha per icona un vitigno autoctono in questi anni, in cui il monovitigno ed il terroir hanno affollato le degustazioni, è una scelta oggettivamente coraggiosa. Questa cantina è notoriamente leader del mercato di quest’area. Le sue etichette sono presenti nelle enoteche ai 4 angoli della terra ed avere le spalle così larghe, non sminuisce l’avventura “Matematico”. Infatti per le cantine affermate, il bland rappresenta l’abito su misura più bello da mostrare oltre la propria storia ed ancora una volta, con il cuore oltre l’ostacolo, il coraggio di numerare le bottiglie, finalmente!
