La montagna precipita in mare, la roccia dilavata da piogge violente, escursioni rapide fra giorno e notte, la posizione sull’isola, come in una stanza con tante finestre aperte. Un concentrato di variabili che nel vino si trasformano in opportunità organolettiche.

1.Vina Pavičić (Fratelli Luka e Milko Pavičić), il vigneto è quello storico di Carevac, fra i primi insediamenti rurali degli antichi romani.
Bogdanuša 2019, alcol 12,0 %vol., secco
Sapido, minerale, fresco, gusto pieno, piacevole, versatile.

1. Vina Pavičić (Brothers Luka and Milko Pavičić), the vineyard is the historic one of Carevac, one of the first rural settlements of the ancient Romans.
Bogdanuša 2019, alcohol 12.0% vol., Dry Sapid, mineral, fresh, full-bodied, pleasant, versatile.

Pošip de lux 2019, alcol. 14,0% vol., secco
Amaretto, ammandorlato, elegante, morbido, il mio preferito fra i cinque.
Varieta: pošip; vigneti: sud dell’isola – Ivan Dolac

Amaretto, almond, elegant, soft, my favorite among the five.

3. Zlatan Otok della famiglia Plenković, un cognome indimenticabile per la storia della Croazia, oltre ad essere la cantina più grande dell’isola con vigneti sulla terra ferma.

Susina gialla, un bouquet ampio, di buona persistenza, molto ben fatto.

3. Zlatan Otok of the Plenković family, an unforgettable surname in the history of Croatia, as well as being the largest winery on the island with vineyards on the mainland.
Pošip 2019 alcohol. 13.5% vol, dry
Yellow plum, a large bouquet, with good persistence, very well done.
Variety: pošip; vineyards: Baška Voda (near town Makarska)
4. Vina Tomić di Andro Tomić, ci siamo già incontrati, qualche tempo fa in fiera.
Illyricum 2016, alcol. 14,0%, secco
Marasca, timo intenso, erbe di macchia, sincero, uva surmatura, sentori umanizzati e di cantina. Un vino non così equilibrato, ma che esprime bene l’ampiezza di questo blend.
Varieta: plavac mali & cabernet sauvignon; vigneti: nei pressi di Hvar – Vira
4. Vina Tomić by Andro Tomić, we already met some time ago at the fair. Illyricum 2016, alcohol. 14.0%, dry
Marasca cherry, intense thyme, wild herbs, sincere, overripe grapes, humanized and cellar scents. A wine not so balanced, but which expresses well the breadth of this blend.

5. Vina Carić di Ivo Carić
Plovac Ploški barrique 2013, alcol.15,0 % vol. secco
Evoluto, evidente passaggio in legno, tannico, robusto. Un buon vino rosso!
Varieta: plavac mali; vigneti: Ivan Dolac – la parte sud dell’isola

Evolved, evident passage in wood, tannic, robust. A good red wine!
